Just Came Back

Long time no post. Been in Brunei for JCC from 14 Feb to 08 March and in India (Sikkim) from 12 March till 26 March.

JCC consist of Ex Nomad, Ex Chill Hermit and Ex Chill Bone. Only Ex Chill Bone got some kick to it... the earlier 2 exercises are actually quite easy.

For Sikkim trekking, Who is in it?

1. MAJ Don (basically, he is sick during the trip)
2. Rudy (he took over me in handling admin)
3. me
4. Chandra (he did nothing for the trip except talk-cock)
5. Kal (this wise-guy took the opportunity to visit some friends)
6. Azmi (the SAT Phone man... he is okay...but in Calcutta he is mistaken for a terrorist)
7. Philp (the Ranger is great fun to have around....especially gambling)
8. Botak Lee kok Hoong (great fun guy to be with)

For me, the trip turns out to be like a pilgrimage to India, especially to Sikkim. I have visit the local monastery at Yuksom and Tsokha, and the Nyingmapa Dubdi Monastery, the Tashi Ding Monastery, and last but not least, the seat of the great Karmapa, Rumtek Monastery....

Good to have turned back earlier in the trip! Otherwise, would not be able to see Rumtek Monastery....
